Mr. Capalot, or Polo Capalot as he is commonly referred to from Chicago Illinois started to gain recognition after releasing tracks on YouTube. Initial releases included the singles "The Come Up and "Never Cared" before he made his SoundCloud d but with the mixtape "OFFICIAL POLOG SOUND CLOUD". Gang With Me became his first number one single. This was then followed by Finer Thing. In jail was he wrote his second song. It was his debut single and had thousands of YouTube views. Then, major record labels became interested in him. Pop Out, featuring Lil Tjay is finally out after the rapper had signed an Columbia Records distribution agreement. The song received millions in viewers on YouTube. Additionally it landed 22nd on Billboard Hot 100. Polo G was a YouTube success and earned a decent amount of recognition through other social media websites including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
